Our Doctors

Dr Sarah Weaver (MBBS (USyd) M. Psych.Med. (UNSW)) Grad.Dip. Couple Therapy (Relationships Australia).
Background Dr Weaver has been a GP in the Inner West for over 40 years. She is accredited to provide Antenatal Shared Care through RPA and Canterbury Hospitals; to refer patients under the Better Access Program (Mental Health Treatment Plan) and through the ATAPS program for health care card holders.Special Interests Dr Weaver enjoys the full range of general practice with a particular interest in mental health and counselling, and in women’s and family health.
Personal Interests Dr Weaver also works as a GP educator in mental health with Black Dog Institute and enjoys spending time with her 5 young grandchildren.


Dr Ryan Quan Vo (MBBS UNSW, FRACGP)
Background Dr Vo is a Fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and a graduate of the University of NSW.
Special Interests He has an interest in all aspects of General Practice.
Personal Interests Outside of the practice, he enjoys the occasional game of golf, learning to sail and travelling.

Dr Anthony Santamaria (MBBS UNSW)
Background Dr Santamaria has worked as a GP in Rozelle since 1978. He joined this group in 1999.
Personal Interests He is able to offer consultations in Italian as well as English

Dr Jonathan Phan (MBBS UNSW, FRACGP)
Background Dr Phan graduated from the University of NSW and has been in general practice since 2007. He enjoys general practice as it gives him the opportunity to interact with patients of all ages and cultural backgrounds.
Special Interests He enjoys general practice as it gives him the opportunity to interact with patients of all ages and cultural backgrounds.Personal Interests Outside of medicine he likes to spend time cooking and traveling.

Dr David Ritchie – MBCHB DCH DGP FRCNZGP
Background - Dr Ritchie qualified as a GP in New Zealand and started his own practice in 1985. This grew into an integrative Medical Centre with 5 doctors and some 30 staff.
Special Interests - He has a strong interest in child health and child development and behaviour.He has an interest in chronic illness and working with a team to improve quality of life for each patient.

Dr Debra Tattersall (MBBS (Syd))
Background Dr Debra Tattersall graduated from Sydney University and has been in General practice for 25 years, working on the far north coast and Sydney’s western suburbs. She is accredited in Shared Antenatal care, women’s health, including IUCD and Implanon insertion.
Special Interests She has an interest in adolescent and mental health.

Personal Interests Loves spending time with her family, running, gardening and reading.

Dr Zoe Boyatzis BA (Media & Communications); MBBS; Dip. Child Health
Background: Zoe graduated from the University of Notre Dame with an MBBS in 2011, after completing a Bachelor of Arts (Media and Communications) at the University of Sydney in 2007.  She is currently in her final term of General Practice training.  Before entering General Practice, she worked in Emergency Medicine at Royal North Shore Hospital.
Special Interests: Zoe enjoys Women’s Health, having completed a Certificate in Sexual and Reproductive Health.  She is also passionate about paediatrics and completed her Diploma in Child Health in 2014.

Dr Lisa Luo MBBS; MS; Dip. Child Health (Maternity Leave)
Background: Dr Luo graduated from the University of New South Wales. Before entering General Practice, she worked in various hospitals including RNS, Westmead Children’s Hospital, Bankstown and St George. She completed her Masters of Surgery at University of Sydney in 2012 and her Diploma in Child Health In 2015.
Special Interests: Lisa enjoys all aspects of general practice, particularly paediatrics, and minor procedures.

Dr Latha Birra MBBS; DGO; FRACGP
Background: Dr Birra is a feloow of the Royal College of General Practitioners and has been in General Practice for 35 years.
Special Interests: Dr Birra has a special interest in Women’s health, chronic illness and preventative health. She is accredited in Antenatal Shared Care. She enjoys all aspects of General Practice. She is keen in health, fitness and yoga.

Our Nursing Staff

Kimberley Keane – Practice Nurse
Our nurse Kimberley studied at the University of Technology Sydney with a Major in Paediatrics. Kim has a background and interest in orthopaedic nursing. When she’s not at the medical centre she continues to work alongside Australia’s leading orthopaedic surgeons. Kimberley has a very strong commitment to bringing her own personality traits of kindness and caring to her practice nursing and enjoys working with new families. She looks forward to meeting you.

Claire Knight (Practice Nurse)
Claire studied a Bachelor of Nursing in Country Victoria before relocating to Sydney to pursue her career. She has a background in Medical/ Surgical Theatre and has been working in General Practice for the last three years. Claire is certified as a Nurse Immuniser and is able to perform Pap Smears. Her interests are in Family and Child Health, preventative health initiatives and minor procedures.

Courtney Edstein (Practice Manager)
Courtney has a great attitude and knows the ins and outs of the practice. She is currently completing a Bachelor in Media and Communications degree and has a lot of experience with customer service.


Jade Pike – (Sydney Specialist Suites Office Manager)
With over 12 years experience in medical admin and managing Jade is a huge help to the Practice.
Originally from London UK. Jade is very outgoing, friendly dedicated and caring and loves to get involved with the patients.

Kate Meldrum Cotsford – (Receptionist)
Kate has been working between Rozelle and Glebe Medical Centre for over 3 years. She enjoys art, travelling and is studying nursing.


Georgia Neave – (Receptionist)
Georgia is new to Rozelle and passionate about helping our patients receive an excellent experience here at the practice. She is a bubbly, vibrant and caring person who’s interested in creative writing and art.

Michelle Nearchou- Dietitian APD
Michelle is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD) and Accredited Nutionist having completed a Masters of Nutrition and Dietetics and a Bachelor of Science. She is also a member of the Dietitians Association of Australia (DAA).
Michelle interest include nutrition management for high cholesterol, hypertension, weight loss and maintenance, insulin resistance and type 2 diabetes.
In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, experimenting with new recipes, being active and playing the piano.

Kathryn McEntegart – Podiatrist BHlthSc (Podiatry) 
Kathryn grew up in New Zealand with a keen interest in sport. She chose to do a degree in Podiatry due to an interest in things medical and her sporting background, including athletics, gymnastics and netball. She graduated at the top of class in 1996 and went on to work in a private practice in Wellington.
In 2001, Kathryn moved to U.K to live and work in London, it was here that she also taught clinical podiatry at the London Foot Hospital. She moved back to  Australia in 2006, where she continued her special interest in the paediatric podiatry across podiatry clinics. She now has a daughter who is nearly one year old, so much of her spare time is taken up watching her grow and learn.

Olivia Garnett – Psychologist MPsych (Clinical); B.SC- Psych (HONS); MAPS 
Olivia is a dedicated and friendly psychologist. She completed her Masters of Psychology (Clinical) Degree as well as a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Psychology at the University of Western Sydney and Sydney University. Olivia has experience working with children, adolescents, youth and adults in community, hospital, university and private settings and has been trained in a variety of evidence-based therapies including CBT, DBT, ACT, Schema therapy and EMDR. She has helped many clients overcome and effectively manage psychological distress including those presenting with depression and anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, work and relationship stress, emotion regulation difficulties, psychosis and trauma related disorders. Her primary interests lie in working with adolescents and young people. She is a member of the Australian Psychological Society, and provides treatment under Medicare as well as WorkCover.

Dr Natalie Shavit – Psy D (Clinical); MA (Clinical); MA (Counselling); B.Sci 

Dr Natalie Shavit is a Senior Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience in assessing and treating a wide range of psychological issues including anxiety, depression, stress, anger, pain management, relationship difficulties, LGBT issues and adjustment problems, to name a few. Natalie has nearly 20 years of experience specialising in both short and long term therapy, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) for depression, anxiety disorders and stress; Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (a mindfulness based CBT) for certain personality disorders and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy for relationship issues and more long-standing problems which may not respond to CBT.

Kirsten Vo – Physiotherapist & Pilates Instructor
Kirsten graduated as a physiotherapist in 2006. She has worked in both the public system and private practice. She has experience with musculoskeletal injuries and has a special interest in Women’s Health. Kirsten is passionate about teaching Pilates. She is fluent in French, Vietnamese and English. She enjoys ice-skating, skiing and snorkeling.

Samuel Hope – Physiotherapist
Sam is working full time at the Rozelle practice since graduating from the University of Sydney with a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy. Sam has a passion for musculoskeletal / sports physiotherapy and rehabilitation. He also incorporates strength and conditioning (from his undergraduate degree) with manual therapy for an evidence-based approach to the treatment and prevention of sports and recreational injuries.
Sam has a background in pilates, soccer and rugby union teams and provides regular sports coverage for their athletics, cricket and basketball programs.

Glenn Fairweather – Exercise Physiologist
Glenn completed his bachelor in Exercise & Sport Science, as well as a Master’s of Clinical Exercise Physiology.
He has developed a strong passion for prescribing exercise for the treatment and prevention of Diabetes and cardiovascular disease.
Glenn also finds the assessment and treatment of dysfunctional movement patterns and musculoskeletal injuries of particular interest, after going through his own sports injury rehabilitation.
As an avid fan of sports you’ll often find Glenn talking about snowboarding, cricket, golf and rugby league.div>
